About the Role
As Director of Demand Generation at Descript, you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy that fuels our pipeline and revenue growth across our enterprise and self-serve business lines. You'll own full-funnel demand creation from market awareness and lead acquisition to nurturing and conversion. You'll bring a blend of data-driven strategy, operational rigor, and audience insight to drive measurable impact across multiple channels and audiences. Partnering closely with Product Marketing, RevOps, and Sales, you'll architect scalable programs that educate the market, position Descript as an industry leader, and deliver efficient pipeline acceleration. You'll report to the Head of Marketing and serve as a key member of the marketing leadership team, influencing company-wide GTM strategy. What You'll Do
The base salary range for this role is $203,000-230,000. Final offer amounts will carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, and location, and they may vary from the amount above. About Descript Descript is building a simple, intuitive, fully-powered editing tool for video and audio - an editing tool built for the age of AI.
