Your Team, Your Impact The Global Head of Marketing will report to the Chief Operations Officer and will have responsibility for both technical and corporate marketing, including Brand, company narrative, content, internal and external Events, PR & Social Media, Marketing Operations and website. This leader will have a strong foundation in marketing technical concepts, preferably with some experience in the semiconductor arena or similar technical fields. This person will understand the engineering mindset and be able to work effectively with Product Leaders and translate technical concepts into big-picture narratives to the market. This leader will take an active role in redefining the role of marketing at Marvell and heightening the expectations of the entire central marketing function. Marvell seeks at leader who can lead and bring the organization together, adding strategic and bottom-line value to Marvell. This person will be capable of fostering a cohesive team, ensuring that marketing objectives are clear and in line with business objectives, building strong relationships across the business and driving a highly positive, accountable team culture. What We're Looking For A seasoned professional with at least 20 years of experience in guiding marketing initiatives in technical, innovation-driven organizations. • Demonstrated success in creating compelling storytelling and brand positioning on behalf of technical companies and audiences. Combination of semiconductor and systems experience strongly desired. • Proven success in engaging with Product peers and translating technical product capabilities into corporate-level narratives. Product Marketing background is ideal. • Experience elevating the marketing function to provide more strategic value to the business and company goals. • Successful track record of managing cross-functional marketing teams. • Demonstrable expertise in developing and executing successful strategic plans.
