As a Director, HIV Franchise Marketing, OLP Peer-to-Peer Strategy - HIV PrEP at Gilead you will lead the development and execution of innovative peer-to-peer initiatives that engage healthcare professionals and drive impact across the HIV PrEP Business Unit. This highly visible role influences a $13B HIV Business Unit, shaping strategies that advance education, awareness, and adoption of best practices in patient care. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and strong leader with a proven ability to deliver high-quality execution in speaker bureau management and peer-to-peer content creation. Success in this role requires exceptional collaboration skills, a compliance-first mindset, and the ability to partner effectively with diverse internal stakeholders and external opinion leaders. Working closely with marketing teams across HIV PrEP, Treatment OLP, and Franchise, as well as Legal, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Marketing Operations, Field Leadership, and external vendors, the Director will ensure strategies and tactics are aligned with business objectives and executed flawlessly. This position reports directly to the Senior Director, HIV Franchise Marketing - Opinion Leader Programming (OLP) for the U.S. HIV Business Unit. Key responsibilities:

Project Management Excellence: Proven skills in planning, prioritization, timeline and budget management, and flawless execution. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong ability to partner with diverse internal teams and external opinion leaders to drive coordinated outcomes. Regulatory & Compliance Expertise: Deep understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and ability to navigate review processes effectively. Exceptional Communication Skills: Skilled in simplifying complex scientific topics and delivering clear, compelling presentations and written content. Industry Experience: Track record of success in pharma/biotech marketing or medical affairs within specialty categories Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and Twelve Years' Experience OR Masters' Degree and Ten Years' Experience OR PhD/PharmD and Eight Years' Experience Preferred Qualifications:
People Leader Accountabilities:
The salary range for this position is: $226,185.00 - $292,710.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
