For more information, please visit ccaaugusta.com/employment.html Description: The Marketing and Development Director at Community Christian Academy is responsible for advancing the academy's mission by leading all marketing, communications, and development efforts. This role is pivotal in increasing the academy's visibility, supporting enrollment growth, and securing financial resources through fundraising initiatives. Additionally, the Marketing and Development Director will support general office functions, contributing to the smooth operation of the school's administrative processes. This individual would need to work effectively with others, as well as be individually motivated and task and detail-oriented. Employee should value supporting teaching and administrative staff, as well as helping students grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually. Compensation: $20,000.00 base salary. For cash received from donors, an additional annual bonus will be paid at a rate of 5.5% of the gross amount received upon receipt of funds with an annual cap of $85,000.00. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. • Experience in marketing, fundraising, or development, preferably in an educational or nonprofit setting. • Success in managing marketing campaigns and fundraising initiatives. • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, and social media platforms. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships. • Strong organizational and administrative abilities, with attention to detail. • Preferred experience in event planning, coordination, and execution. • Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills. • Be a born-again Christian who is exemplary in his/her Christian walk. Expectations: • Above all, employee would be expected to set an example of the importance of prayer, Bible study, witnessing, and unity in Christian fellowship as well as a model of a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ in speech, actions, and attitudes. • Demonstrate subordination to policy and procedure. • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote the academy's programs and mission. • Create promotional materials, including brochures, videos, and advertisements, to engage prospective students and families. • Organize and oversee marketing events such as open houses, tours, and community outreach programs. • Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to meet goals. • Design and execute a strategic development plan to increase philanthropic support for the academy. • Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with donors, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and alumni. • Plan and manage fundraising events, such as auctions, galas, and giving campaigns. • Oversee grant writing and reporting processes, ensuring alignment with funding requirements and deadlines. • Maintain accurate records of donor contributions and develop regular reports on fundraising progress. • Build and maintain strong relationships with the local community, fostering partnerships that support the academy's mission. • Represent the academy at community events, networking with local businesses, churches, and organizations. • Develop volunteer opportunities and engage parents, alumni, and community members in supporting the school's programs. • Flexibility in fulfillment of tasks and responsibilities for overall benefit of daily operations of the school. • Communicate effectively with students, parents, partners, and co-workers. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide the best environment possible for our school. • Cooperate with the administration in implementing all policies, procedures, and directives governing the operation of the school. • Accept a share of responsibility for extracurricular activities as assigned. • Contribute to the general improvement of the school program. | |
