Role Summary/Purpose:
We are looking for a passionate, driven and experienced marketing leader to drive growth for the Vet/Pet industry, one of our largest healthcare verticals. The VP, Vet/Pet Marketing role for CareCredit is a high-profile, fast-paced leadership position responsible for acquiring, engaging and growing provider and partner relationships. This position leads a team of marketing professionals, partners closely with the Vet/Pet General Manager and sales leadership. The VP, Vet/Pet Marketing establishes the strategic vision and plan for the industry including B2B and B2B2C, while collaborating with internal cross-functional marketing teams to amplify in DTC, Content, PR and Lifecycle marketing channels to drive consumer acquisition and care usage of the CareCredit credit card at client locations in the Veterinary and Pet care industries.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sales Leadership, and cross functional teams to develop integrated marketing strategies that acquire new providers deepen engagement and penetration with enrolled providers to meet company goals and KPIs.
- Partner closely with Vet/Pet GM to develop go-to-market strategies for broader expansion into Pet care
- Lead, manage and nurture the vet/pet marketing team help drive marketing KPIs as well as their professional growth and development
- Liaison with the Insurance & Investments marketing to integrate pet insurance marketing into the Veterinary channel
- Nurture and expand relationships with vet/pet key opinion leaders and subject matter experts in the Veterinary and Pet care space to drive advocacy, develop education and content to support CareCredit leadership position.
- Drive alignment with the sales organization by establishing shared goals, integrated planning cadences, account targeting, and closed-loop feedback to ensure marketing programs translate into actionable pipeline for veterinary practices.
- Partner with acquisition and lifecycle marketing to identify opportunities to drive repeat usage and content for supporting marketing programs
- Work closely with analytics and finance to develop/ track campaign analytics and metrics to help optimize and prioritize effective GTM campaigns and programs.
- Lead the development of an annual marketing calendar, leveraging allocated resources, manage multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Lead the development of educational online and offline content to educate, engage and empower providers, consumers and cardholders to deepen relevancy, value and loyalty (webinars, videos, podcasts, case studies, and white papers, gamification)
- Analyze research and data to translate into strategies. Identify intelligence gaps and field needed intelligence
- Conduct primary research and secondary research to strengthen CareCredit leadership and drive industry transformation and new reasons to believe and change behavior
- Executive level presentation development and delivery
- Manage budget including forecasting and tracking
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma and 15+ years of marketing experience
- 10+ years B2B marketing experience that includes strategic thinking, mission/vision development, development and management of comprehensive multi-channel marketing campaigns with strong experience in digital marketing
- 4+ years client-facing experience in a sales, marketing, or business development capacity
- 3+ years consumer marketing experience
- Ability to travel ~25%
- Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required

The salary range for this position is
150,000.00 - 250,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
- You must be 18 years or older
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
- You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
- New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
