Overview Synaptics is looking for a Sr. Director, Wireless Product Marketing to spearhead strategic initiatives that drive growth and market expansion for Synaptics' Embedded Wireless Business within the Embedded Compute and Connectivity Division (ECCD) in the Americas and EMEA. This role requires a strategic thinker, technical depth and results-oriented leader capable of identifying opportunities, fostering partnerships, and strengthening customer engagement. The Senior Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement business strategies that support Synaptics' goals and ensure revenue growth in the Americas and EMEA. This position reports to the VP, Marketing and Customer Engineering. The typical base pay range for this position is USD $207,000 - $326,700 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, equity, and other benefits. Note that compensation listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Responsibilities & Competencies Job Duties Own driving revenue for wireless connectivity business including forecast, financial planning and longer-term revenue projection Lead, motivate, mentor and scale a high-performing team of product marketing to drive GTM, customer engagement, design in and design win activities, and grow the wireless funnel for ECCD Partner with executive leadership to shape and execute business strategies aligned with Synaptics' growth objectives Expand the opportunity funnel for the wireless connectivity business by identifying and pursuing key market opportunities Develop and nurture relationships with target customers, partners, and third parties to drive business growth Lead efforts to uncover and meet customer needs, serving as the voice of the customer within Synaptics Drive customer engagements to develop, negotiate, and close new business opportunities Execute initiatives to increase market share and profitability for Synaptics' Wireless Business Identify strategic partnerships and new market opportunities, building business cases to support entry and expansion Leverage industry relationships to enhance Synaptics' positioning in established and emerging markets Guide and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives and meet deliverables Competencies Deep expertise in the connectivity markets, with insights into industry trends Strategic and analytical thinking; ability to connect market insight to product vision and execution Strong industry network and technical understanding within the semiconductor or technology sectors (BT/Wi-Fi/UWB preferred) Results-driven mindset with entrepreneurial energy and a customer-centric approach Ability to motivate a diverse team of engineers: Achieves focus on key priorities, provides clear direction, delegates, actively communicates, and coaches Ability to influence and lead through change and are motivated by the challenge of a fast-paced, high-growth global environment Able to solve problems that are not clearly defined and require in depth understanding of technology and organizational objectives Must be analytical with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in complex and rapidly changing environments Establishes clear expectations, sets objectives, e nsures team alignment with organizational goals, and fosters a collaborative work environment Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively plan and prioritize Excellent communication that is clear, concise, and compelling Experience with working effectively across multiple levels of an organization and building successful cross functional partnerships Qualifications (Requirements) Bachelor's (MBA or advanced degree preferred) degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field or equivalent 15+ years of experience in product marketing, business development, preferably in the semiconductor or technology industry including 7+ years leading teams Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing complex product portfolios Demonstrated track record of analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and developing plans that are executable Demonstrated strong negotiation skills with a history of managing complex engagements Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute operationally Demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing teams Domestic and International travel up to 50% required Belief in Diversity Synaptics is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to workforce diversity.
