What You Will Learn:
As the Marketing Director for the Professional Products Division (PPD), you will lead and direct the total marketing function, providing the strategic vision required to achieve long-term business objectives. This role focuses on strategic project management, divisional leadership, and establishing best-in-class operational standards. You will act as a key advisor, influencing critical business decisions and shaping the overall transformation of the professional hair stylist industry in the Caribe market.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with L'Oréal's overall business goals, utilizing market analysis, competitive assessments, and consumer insights to identify emerging trends.
- Drive divisional growth and operational efficiency through the strategic management of the A&P budget. Optimize resource allocation and investment strategies to maximize market share.
- Spearhead the Salons Transformation and Stylist Loyalty strategy. Define the B2B2C value proposition to empower our professional partners as brand advocates, driving both salon service excellence and consumer retail demand.
- Lead long-term products and line extension strategies.
- Development of brand strategy and brand plans over the current and next year that delivers against growth and share metrics.
- Recommend and oversee annual communication plans and marketing mixes that maximize ROI across all touchpoints.
- Identify and exploit customers' insights regarding portfolio brand (i.e. purchase behavior) and distributors proposition to business partners (i.e. Sales Identification of key business questions / needs and drivers).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, global DMI teams, and major salon group partners.
- Execute the development of brand strategy plans for the region cascading and localizing DMI's plans. Stablishing close relationship with DMI's and Brand teams in LUSA.
- Champion the Digital Transformation of the division. Oversee the integration of digital education, and social media strategies to modernize the professional stylist's journey and consumer engagement.
- Manage communications development process through management of budget, timelines, and project management for all agencies. Responsible for appropriate advertising strategy and creative projects.
- Lead, mentor, and build the talent pipeline for a high-performing marketing team (two (2) Assistant Marketing Mangers). Foster a culture of excellence and accountability, ensuring the professional development of direct reports and cross-functional partners.
- Establish best practices for marketing operations, ensuring efficiency, brand integrity, and compliance with all company ethical and safety standards.

What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field required, MBA preferred.
- Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience in marketing and market development with a proven track record of success in leadership roles.
- Language: Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Job Specific Experience/Skills:
- Proven expertise in strategic brand architecture, including the development and oversight of complex segmentation, targeting, and positioning frameworks across a multi-brand portfolio
- Ability to direct the adaptation of global creative assets to ensure local relevance in the Caribe market while maintaining global brand integrity.
- Mater's business principles and financial concepts, including A&P management and impact on P&L.
- Data-driven strategist capable of translating complex market analytics and consumer KPIs into actionable business growth plans and ROI-focused initiatives.
- Media planning knowledge.
- Experience leveraging CRM and SEO/SEM tools and content marketing platforms.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel and business applications.
- Travel: This position may require traveling of 25-35%.

- Proven executive presence with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures, influence senior leadership, and represent the division in high-stakes regional or global forums.
- Deep understanding of B2B2C business models.
- A visionary mindset regarding the beauty industry, with a focus on how digital transformation and changing consumer behaviors impact the salon ecosystem.
