What you will do
The Marketing Director is responsible for developing and executing the annual marketing plan aligned with the strategic vision, leading key business initiatives, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring effective implementation of marketing programs within budget. You will also design sales incentive schemes and identify local marketing opportunities to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive and innovative marketing strategies and plans that elevate brand presence, enhance positioning, and drive measurable business growth and market expansion.
- Manage and oversee the end-to-end implementation of multi-channel marketing programs and campaigns, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
- Harness data analytics, market insights, and research to anticipate trends, identify emerging market opportunities, and inform proactive marketing initiatives and product enhancements.
- Cultivate and mentor high-performing, cross-functional marketing and sales teams, fostering a culture of creativity, experimentation, continuous improvement, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Forge and maintain strategic partnerships and collaborations with external vendors, agencies, and key stakeholders to amplify brand reach, optimize marketing effectiveness, and open new market opportunities.
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance on critical business issues, driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve organizational objectives.
- Design and oversee sales incentive schemes and define marketing objectives, policies, and organizational structures to maximize sales, profitability, market share, and ROI.
- Direct the creation and execution of integrated communications, market research, and public relations initiatives supporting the strategic marketing agenda.
- Develop, monitor, and enforce adherence to the annual marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Identify and pursue new market segments and applications to sustain long-term volume growth and business diversification.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive marketing leadership experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Proven ability to develop and execute marketing programs.
- Fundamental skills in marketing research methodologies including customer insights.
- Experience in brand positioning and product development lifecycle management.
- Experience leading product launches and customer segmentation strategies.
- Experience managing customer-facing functions such as sales and sales management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and forecast trends.
- Proven leadership capabilities in coaching, mentoring, and developing teams.
- Understanding of consumer sector sales, trade marketing, and integrated marketing communications.
- Strong business acumen with ability to influence executive decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of transformative campaign success.
- Exceptional strategic thinking skills combined with a hands-on approach to innovative marketing solutions.
- Demonstrated expertise in leveraging digital platforms and emerging technologies to create impactful brand experiences.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience specifically within medical device, healthcare, or related technology industries.
- Advanced degree preferred in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven expertise in creating new markets or expanding existing segments, particularly in obesity/metabolic and robotics fields.
- Strong knowledge of voice of the customer (VOC) analytics.
- Direct experience managing key enabling functions including Category Management, Customer Service, Finance, and Supply Chain.
- Exceptional analytical skills to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Exemplary leadership qualities including integrity, professionalism, and ability to lead through ambiguity and conflict.
- Competencies in strategic and tactical planning, financial management, resource allocation, negotiation, and impact management.
- Comprehensive skills in business planning, B2C marketing, customer experience management, marketing function organization, net revenue management, product management, and sales trend analysis.
What's in it for you
Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:
$190,825.00 - $269,400.00
This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
