About the Role Responsive is hiring a Director of Scaled Growth Marketing to build and scale the product-led growth engine for our Commercial business (SMB + Mid-Market). This is not a traditional demand generation role. We are seeking a hands-on growth leader with recent, direct experience driving PLG motions - specifically converting self-service and trial users into paid B2B SaaS customers. This leader will own the end-to-end scaled growth strategy for Responsive's self-service offerings (including Responsive Lite and Flywheel), with a focus on building a repeatable, data-driven engine that converts inbound traffic and product signups into revenue. The mandate is clear: design, launch, and scale a 0→1 commercial growth model that fuels efficient pipeline creation and monetization across the SMB segment. Reporting to the VP of Growth, this role sits at the intersection of Product, Marketing, and Revenue. You will partner closely with Product Marketing, RevOps, Sales, Customer Success, and Brand to build a full-funnel motion - from acquisition and activation to trial conversion, onboarding, expansion, and lifecycle engagement. The ideal candidate has recent experience in SMB-focused B2B SaaS environments where product-led growth is core to the revenue strategy. You have built scalable commercial pipelines for self-service models, optimized trial-to-paid conversion, and developed onboarding and lifecycle programs that accelerate time-to-value. You understand how to design growth experiments, instrument funnel analytics, improve activation metrics, and scale efficient customer acquisition beyond traditional enterprise demand gen tactics. This is a builder role. We are looking for someone who has created growth infrastructure from the ground up - defining ICPs, establishing conversion benchmarks, building lifecycle automation, testing pricing and packaging levers, and scaling what works. Success in this role means establishing a durable, scalable SMB revenue engine that complements Responsive's enterprise-led motion and supports the long-term expansion of our Strategic Response Management platform. Additional Information Responsive uses a market-based compensation philosophy. A candidate's starting base salary will be determined by the specific responsibilities of the role, as well as job-related skills, experience, qualifications, location, and current market trends. For this position, the base salary range is $175,000-$225,000. Our recruiting team will provide details on the applicable range based on your location during the hiring process. Please note that this range covers base salary only and does not include bonuses, equity, or benefits.
